Description

WHY MOTUL OIL?
Technosynthese® “fuel saving” lubricant.
Recommended for FIAT, PSA (Peugeot, Citroën and DS) and RENAULT cars.
Developed for modern cars with petrol or diesel engines, naturally aspirated or turbocharged, with direct or indirect injection, for
which require the use of a lubricant compliant with the ACEA C2 specification, with low friction and viscosity levels
HTHS (≥ 2.9 mPa.s) and with reduced content of sulphated ash (≤0.8%), phosphorus (≤ 0.09%) and sulphur (≤0.3%), “Mid SAPS”.
Suitable for use on latest generation petrol and diesel engines requiring the use of a “low-friction” lubricant.
“fuel economy” compliant with ACEA C2 specification.
Compatible with catalytic converters and diesel particulate filters (DPF).
The use of this type of lubricant may not be suitable for some types of engines.
If in doubt, refer to the vehicle's use and maintenance manual.

HONDA, SUBARU, TOYOTA RECOMMENDATIONS
Engines compliant with EURO 4, EURO 5 and EURO 6 emission standards are equipped with post-treatment systems
of extremely sensitive exhaust gases. Phosphorus and sulphur inhibit the operation of catalytic converters
consequently making the exhaust gas treatment ineffective; sulphated ash clogs the filters
particulate filter, causing a shorter regeneration cycle which leads to faster oil aging, increased
fuel consumption and decreased engine performance.

The ACEA C2 specification requires lubricants with fuel economy and low emission characteristics.
Motul 6100 SAVE-clean 5W-30 with its Technosynthese® base and reduced ash content (SaPS),
allows to obtain a very resistant oil film, which reduces friction in the
engine and is compatible with modern exhaust gas post-treatment systems.
The FIAT 9.55535-S1 performance level requires ACEA C2 and SAE 5W30 oil in order to perfectly lubricate the
1.3L, 1.6L and 2.0L Multijet Diesel engines from FIAT, ALFA-ROMEO and LANCIA produced since 2007. Some manufacturers
Asians require, for their recent Diesel cars (from 2006), an ACEA C2 lubricant to ensure maximum
